I was searching around on Billboard this morning and found this. Congrats to a great team! link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1174357538/bclid1171877315/bctid1577898091These two have written and performed a lot of the songs that shaped my particular taste in music. I've always loved their sound and I can't count the number of times I've heard one of their songs and just cranked up the radio...memories flooding back...and felt the 'blue-eyed soul' they created.

I’m 35 and grew up a radio kid and I’ve always loved Hall & Oats...these guys were always on. I absolutely love my name, the song and the story of why Mama named me Brandi, but twice I’ve wanted to change it. When I was 6 I wanted to change my name to Katie Scarlett (3 guesses where that came from) and when I was about 7 I wanted to be Sara because of their song.

Funny you should mention Katie Scarlett......my middle daughter's name came from that movie....Melanie. Most people used Scarlett, Rhett or Ashley..... ;D I always loved Hall and Oats. But I like Jimmy's version of "Sara" better than the original. He just brings something to it that's so soulful...
